kraft ranch dressing varieties

Kraft ranch dressing can be considered keto-friendly due to its low net carb per serving. However, this is only the case if the ranch is consumed in moderation. However, ranch dressing is a processed food with unhealthy ingredients such as starch, added sugar, and soybean oil.

If you are on keto and don’t mind adding processed food to your diet. kraft ranch dressing can be great for adding flavors to all your keto dishes. Imagine all the nutritious veggies you can now enjoy on keto with this low-carb ranch dressing.

can I eat ranch on keto?

Yes, you can enjoy ranch dressing with your salads, veggies, fish, chicken, or any other keto-friendly dish. However remember to read the nutritional labels, and avoid any dressing with high carbs or non-keto-friendly ingredients.

A good example is soybean oil which can be seen in the kraft ranch ingredient list. Soybean oil is prone to oxidation due to its highly processed nature. This might cause inflammation in the body.

Highly processed oil is produced under high heat and with chemicals, this extraction process kills the nutrients and introduces harmful chemicals in the dressing. While keto is a high-fat diet it is vital to consume only healthy fats like avocado oil.

Another culprit is high glycemic sweeteners such as sugar. Look for ranch dressing with keto-approved sweeteners such as stevia, monk fruit extract, and erythritol.

You can find multiple brands of ranch dressings that are low in carbs, others even paleo and keto certified. I compiled a list of the best 3 keto-friendly ranch dressings.

Summary

While some websites have labeled Kraft ranch dressing as not keto-friendly I don’t agree. They base their findings on a serving size of 100grams which isn’t practical to consume in a day. A more realistic serving of only 2 tablespoons proves keto-friendly as it only has 2grams of carbs.
